We are an independent, student-owned academic journal. Our mission is to celebrate student research, knowledge, and creativity that advances social justice.
Write with Us
We welcome submissions from all students at the Heller School of Social Policy and Management. Contribute your unique perspective on environmental policy, gender and sexuality, labor, tech, or other diverse fields related to society, culture, and advocacy. We’d love to hear from you.
Alumni + Friends
We encourage Heller school alumni to share their work and ideas with the community. Sharing knowledge and experience can only improve our research and advocacy moving forward.
We publish, we don’t censor, we aren’t an endorsement. The views and opinions expressed throughout the Open-Air Journal are those of the contributor. The Open-Air Journal represents a diversity of views and experiences; publishing does not imply endorsement of any writer, creative, or contributing member.
